Propane Truck

Propane is the leading alternative fuel in the country supplying more than 270,000 on-road vehicles in the United States.

While many of these vehicles are in fleets, a propane-fueled pickup truck makes good sense for farmers too. Propane-fueled trucks cost less to operate than gasoline trucks because of lower fuel and maintenance costs.

For more information about PERC’s work on propane-fueled trucks and vehicles, visit PERC's autogas web site at www.autogasusa.org.
