Propane Torch

Project 1:Controlling Barberry with Propane

PERC is investigating whether or not propane torches can be used to control tick populations through the removal of barberry shrub, a habitat for mice who carry the blacklegged tick. Projects have designed a flaming device and tested it in the field.
